About our Photography Holidays in Europe
Life Through A LensJoin us for an eight-day creative photography holiday including formal tuition and trips to practise your skills in stunning locations across Europe.
Our holidays are suitable for people new to photography or those that have used a camera for many years and wish to develop their technique and creativity in a new and inspiring environment.
Our photography tutors will guide and inspire you to improve your technique and the groups are kept small to ensure individual attention. Immerse yourself in landscape and culture at some of the top destinations for a photography holiday in Europe.
We include talks and demonstrations during the week to provide you with key technical knowledge and skills to help you create truly stunning photographs.
Talks include the following topics:
- Composition & Framing – simple tips for taking better photographs.
- Metering & Exposures – portraiture.
- Portraiture & Reportage – taking better photographs of people.
- Documentary street photography.
- Workflow and post production
- On metering – getting your exposures correct.
- Shutter Speed & Movement / Tripods.
The holidays run in a very relaxed and informal atmosphere; you join any of the sessions you want to. We take trips out each day to explore the region and take some stunning photographs. There is also time to spend relaxing around the pool, on the beach, or exploring, eating and socialising.
Varied Locations to Inspire your Creativity with Your Camera
We currently offer creative photography holidays based in Kalkan, Turkey.
You will be immersed in the landscape and culture of this beautiful region and come back from your holiday recharged and refreshed and with some wonderful photographs.
The week will include trips to explore the culture and landscape of the region, e.g., to the beautiful ancient ruins at Xanthos and Patara, to the turquoise waters at Kapatus beach and to explore the cobbled streets and harbours of the old towns of Kalkan and Kas.

Tutor
Meet Chloe HallChloe Hall is the tutor on the photography holiday. She is a freelance professional photographer and trained at the London College of Printing. Non Participating Partners
Non-Participating Partners are welcome for the discounted price of £1,350 for the week. You able to join us on our trips or we can arrange activities tailored to your interests. You may also like to join one of our other holidays which may be running at the same time, e.g., a painting holiday.
Activities available by arrangement: walking Lycian Way, visiting historic sites, e.g., Patara, Xanthos, Tlos, Letoon, canoeing, PADI scuba diving/courses, horse riding and Turkish cooking courses.
