Excellent Tutoring Painting Holidays in TurkeyPainting Holidays in SpainOur painting holidays in Europe are set in the delightful Mediterranean fishing village of Kalkan, Turkey and the white washed village of Frigiliana, Spain, which was voted the ‘prettiest village in Andalucía’ by the Spanish tourism authority. We also run a two centred holiday in Bulgaria – set in the spectacular Rhodope Mountains and the ancient cultural town of Plovdiv.
Our painting holidays in Europe are designed for small groups of artists of all standards.
The aim is to inspire you to develop your painting technique and style by letting you immerse yourself in the landscape and culture of these regions.
Our resident professional artist, Anna Martin, will guide you to improve your skills, providing individual attention. You will return home with a sense of achievement (and some lovely work!)
The painting holidays run in a very relaxed and informal atmosphere; you choose the medium and set your own pace. You can paint all day if you want or you can spend the afternoons round the pool, on the beach, or exploring, eating and socialising.
All our locations must be considered some of the best places for painting holidays in Europe.

Friendship and Fun
Sharing delicious local specialties and Mediterranean cuisine are an essential part of your painting holiday. We eat in specially selected local restaurants in and around Kalkan in Turkey and Frigiliana in Spain.
We organise everything for you allowing you to focus on being creative, enjoying yourself, having fun and making new friends. Sharing experiences of the day’s activities is all part of the fun.
Non-painting partners welcome (discount applies). Only £1,350 per week.
Non-painting partners can either join the group on the visits each day, or can stay at the Villa and relax by the pool. Alternatively, let us know your interests and we can arrange other activities, e.g. walking the Lycian Way; visiting historic sites such as Patara, Xanthos, Tlos and Letoon; canoeing, PADI scuba diving/courses; horse riding or Turkish cooking courses.
Anna is an inspirational teacher, her demonstrations and tuition were invaluable. I also love her work.
Time to Explore and Relax
You can choose whether you want to spend the afternoons continuing with your painting, relaxing by the pool or exploring the surrounding regions.
On our painting holidays in Turkey we are spoilt for choice in Kalkan for delicious food. It has many restaurants serving delicious Ottoman and Turkish specialities. The group eats out several evenings during the week at specially selected venues.
On our painting holidays in Spain Frigiliana has a range of restaurants serving local Andalucian cuisine, tapas and fresh seafood. We visit a range of selected restaurants during the painting holiday from small bodegas serving wonderful wines and tapas to seafood restaurants serving the freshly caught catch of the day.
