Discover the vibrant colours of the Turquoise coast through the eyes of a painter

Set on the Turquoise coast of Turkey is the enchanting historic town of Kalkan, which is the base for your painting holiday in Turkey. It is a sophisticated place with its narrow streets leading to a picturesque harbour.

It is renowned for its high quality restaurants, many set at roof top level. By night Kalkan has a bustling relaxed atmosphere with its narrow cobbled streets lined with small boutiques and atmospheric bars playing blues and jazz.

On your painting holiday in Turkey you will have many opportunities to explore and capture this beautiful town.

This is the base for your painting holiday in Turkey with experienced professional artist and tutor Anna Martin.

Exceptional Tutoring on your Painting Holiday in Turkey

Professional artist and tutor, Anna Martin, escorts small groups each day along the Turquoise coast of Turkey and into the Taurus mountains on our Painting Holiday. We paint the turquoise waters of Kapatus beach, capture the fading ancient ruins at Patara, sketch in the bustling and colourful local market and paint the fishing boats in the harbour in Kalkan.

Come and discover the inspirational landscape, coastline, flowers and history of this region. Be inspired to capture this beautiful place on your painting holiday.

Throughout the painting holiday your tutor, Anna Martin, will guide you in your chosen medium to capture the landscape in an effective way, developing your style and technique in the process.

Each day of the painting holiday we set out to new locations to inspire your creativity and return to Kalkan to eat in specially selected local restaurants and under the stars as Villa Vanilla.
